4 ways to satisfy your customers during Lockdowns

Not just in Switzerland, but also in Europe made Coronavirus a huge impact in our businesses. We have to take care ourselves, our colleagues, and also our customers. In these times, when aLockdown is a part of our daily life, hard to plan everything so detailed in our business. Now it is even more important, to take care of our online sales channels, and also focusing on our existing customers, and really focusing on them.

There is no better time, to improve our online sales services, and make a great „WOW” effect to our customers. Because when we make their life easier and more comfortable in these periods, they will be the „raving fans” of our businesses. In this blog article, I would like to show you 4 easy ways, how you can satisfy your customers, and generate more online sales in these periods. Even if you selling products, in an e-commerce store, or you have some products with sales funnels.

So here are the 4 ways, you can have a „WOW” effect with your customers:

1.     Send them a personal message

I know first time it sounds weird, but there is no better way for your business, to send a message all of your existing customers. What should you include in this message?

-       We are here with our services to help you,

-       Making more focus on our online activity, to serve you better,

-       Show your opening and availability hours and periods,

-       Have questions in these messages:

o  How can we help you?
o  How can we support you?
o  What is your biggest challenge right know, that we can help?

If you focusing on your customers, they will feel that you are really taking care of them. In this message, you don’t need any sales. Just keep them updated and really focus on them, and their questions. You can do it either by e-mail, or you can send a well designed letter via post to them. The most important thing is, that you want to help them.

 

2.     Put a small gift in all of your orders

In Switzerland, in case of my experiences, only few of the online selling companies are trying to make a „WOW”effect after an online purchase. But you can be different. Just put something small in every orders, a little surprise, which your customers really love.There is a so called „rule” that this surprise can be around 5% of the value of the ordered goods. But it can be less or more too...

The most important thing is to surprise them, and visualize, when they open their order, and having a smile on their faces. It will lead you more sales from them in the future. You can trust me :)

 

3.     Let them behind the scenes

When your customers can feel your business, and you let them behind the scenes, there comes a moment when they really start to connect with you. Don’t be shine, show your daily processes, create contents every day, and let your customers know, that you are still there, and focusing on them. Show them some fun, make them „part of your team”.

You can use Facebook or Instagram stories for these daily insights, or you can just start a Youtube video channel for these stories. But if you focusing on a younger generation, TikTok should be also a great platform for you in these days. The most important thing is tolet your customers behind the scenes and build a higher trust relationship with them.

4.     Create a longer guarantee period 

Especially important this tip for you, if your business is a service. In these insecure days, some of the customers are really afraid to buy something online. If you have the option, just make longer guarantees or set up a longer date, where they can use your services in the future. For example they can use a massage therapy later, if the time is not the perfect for them. Or you can do it available for a longer period. They will be again satisfied, that your business is flexible for your customers needs.
